This contemporary timber Monostringer staircase is constructed in Victorian Ash and utilizes a stainless steel semi-frameless glass balustrade.

The timber stringer was built using the latest construction methods and was handcrafted in our factory by our highly skilled staff. A full height mirror on the wall allows the room to seem much larger and is an effective way to promote the appearance of an open space. The client finished the staircase using a 2 part Synteko™ Natural oil that compliments the features in the timber.

The semi-frameless glass balustrade was constructed using Stainless Steel Posts and handrail with D-Patch fittings holding the 10mm toughened glass panels.

This staircase is an example of the high quality craftsmanship you can expect at OzStair.

The timber mono stringer construction includes a winder set comprised of 2 split landings. This has been supported by fixing the stringer to one of the walls and a post to the ground in the same stringer detail as the main flight.

The full timber appearance complimented the natural stone with its light neutral tones and well defined lines, this staircase was the perfect addition to provide the finishing touch for our clients home.

This Laminated Victorian Ash Staircase was constructed around its Sawtooth stringer. The treads and stringers are 42mm thick and overhang the Face and edges by 20mm. The reason behind using a 42mm stringer to ensure strength within the staircase, the open rise design requires a bit more planning than your standard staircase to ensure that it will be self supporting.
