This Laminated Victorian Ash Staircase was constructed around its Sawtooth stringer. The treads and stringers are 42mm thick and overhang the Face and edges by 20mm. The reason behind using a 42mm stringer to ensure strength within the staircase, the open rise design requires a bit more planning than your standard staircase to ensure that it will be self supporting.
This staircase looks stunning in the natural light which penetrates through the courtyard roof. Complimented with 10mm Toughened Semi-Frameless Glass Balustrading held with 50mm Stainless Steel Posts and patch fittings linked together with a continuous 50mm Round Victorian Ash handrail the staircase fits perfectly into its surroundings.
To increase safety two aluminium flat bars have been inserted into each tread nosing. These bars protrude the top face of the tread by 1mm to give traction as you navigate the flight.
This staircase was designed and produced using the latest in construction methods and only the highest quality timber.Request a Quote
